Automotive Suspension Company, Voodoo13 USA, Begins 3D Printing Face Shields During 2019-nCoV Outbreak

MESA, Ariz. (May 5, 2020) – Voodoo13 USA, an aftermarket automotive performance part manufacturer specializing in the production of MIL-SPEC grade suspension components, has recently teamed up with parent company, Autoline Industries, and Personal Protective Equipment company, Huuman, to supply local hospitals and other healthcare facilities with Transparent Face Shields.

Leveraging their engineering team and 3D Printers, the Voodoo13 team quickly began creating face shields to donate to local facilities in need. The completely transparent face shields offer high quality, distortion free protection of the eyes, nose and mouth by reducing exposure to aerosols, blood, bodily fluids and other splashes or sprays. Although designed to cover the full face, from eyebrows to chin, the face shields are recommended to be used in conjunction with other protective equipment.

Currently the engineering team has been able to produce anywhere from 30-50 face shields each week, which when combined with the 3-Ply Disposable Face Masks and KN95 Respirators distributed by Huuman, have proven to make a small but meaningful impact in the fight to slow the spread of the 2019-nCoV outbreak.

This project, as well as the donation of over 3500 face masks to local non-profits, has been made possible in part by Huuman, where a portion of all proceeds fund a donation program structured to provide PPE to organizations in dire need.

If you know of a facility in need of face shields, face masks, or KN95 Respirators, please visit huumangear.com to learn more or request a donation.
